Never use an extension lead to connect the spa heater to the power outlet. The spa heater must be connected directly to an earthed power outlet and able to support the power consumption of 2050W when the heating function is activated.
To set up the power saving timer, follow these steps or see how to video:
1. Press the power saving button and the display will start flashing, and the LED heating time will start flashing.
2. Use the temperature adjustment buttons to set the heating time range from 1 hour to 99 hours.
3. When the desired time is set, push the power saving button again. The display will start flashing and the LED waiting time will start flashing.
4. Use the temperature adjustment buttons to set the waiting time range from 1 hour to 99 hours.
5. When the desired time is set, push the power saving button again. The LED waiting time will light up steadily and the function will start when the function is activated. After setting, the screen will flash the current temperature and time alternately.
IMPORTANT: this operation is not an automatic cycle. After the heating time finishes, the function will end. If the customer wants the same for the day after, they have to repeat the above steps for the new cycle.
IMPORTANT: the power saving function will reset in the follow conditions:
– The customer pushes the power saving button for more than 3 seconds
– The pump is unplugged
– The heating button is pushed
– If any error codes appear
During the power saving function, the customer can use all other functions, such as massage and filtration. These functions will shut down as soon as the power saving function starts the heating function.
The device can only be connected to one mobile phone at a time.
This appliance can be used by children ages 8 and older or people with a lack of sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the appliance.
IMPORTANT: Water attracts children; always attach a spa cover after each use.
The power saving function was created to optimize the usage of the Bestway spa. You can decide to start the heating system later in the day in order to have the desired temperature and enjoy the spa massage when you need it, instead of keeping the heating function on all the time and wasting energy.
Example: if you need your spa at 40°C (104ºF) tomorrow evening, you would just follow these steps:
1. Open the filtration system and after one minute you should see the real water temperature (e.g. 18℃).
2. If the set temperature is 40℃ (104ºF), the difference between actual temperature and set temperature is 22℃ (71ºF). Since the temperature increase per hour is 2℃ (35ºF), you need to start heating the water 11 hours before using it.
– If it is 6pm and you want to use the spa next day at 6pm, this means the spa heater has to start heating at 7am, so set the waiting time to 13 hours and heating time to 11 hours.
– In this case, the power saving function saves more than 13 hours of power (more than 26KW) because without this function you would have been forced to start the spa in the evening and waste a lot of energy and money.
We don’t suggest setting up the spa on a heated floor. This will create a problem and reduce the lifespan of the PVC, since the PVC expands when it comes in contact with hot surfaces. This will also reduce the performance and lifespan of the internal components of the spa heater.
For safety reasons, Bestway’s spa heater should always be plugged into an earthed power outlet. The power outlet must be high quality and able to support 2050W of power. When the spa heater is heating the water, if the power cord and the socket become hot, your power outlet may not meet the quality requested and may melt. To be sure that your power outlet is compliant with requested power, please consult your electrician.
You should never attempt to run the pump from an extension lead or spur.
Bestway’s spa cannot be operated when the outside temperature drops below 4°C (39ºF).
After activating the hydromassage, the function will automaticly shut down anfter 60 minutes. To reactivate the function, push the lock/unlock button to activate the control panel and push the hydromassage button.

The backrests are fixed with the buckles, and they can be removed. The lounges are welded on the bottom of the spa and cannot be removed.
Before activating the heating function, you have to set the temperature. When the heating system is activated, the heating button and the filtration button will turn red. The filtration system starts, and the heating system starts heating the water. When it reaches the set temperature, the heating system stops heating, and the indicator light turns from red to green. When the water temperature is approximately 2 degrees lower than the set temperature, the heating system will start heating again, and the indicator light will become red again. If the filtration function is turned off, the heating system will stop. If the heating function is turned off, the filtration fuction will continue to work.
Check your mobile phone to see if there is full Wi-Fi signal. If the strength of the signal on your phone is too low, find where the strength of the Wi-Fi signal is stronger and position the pump there.
If you haven’t received your Saluspa activation email, first check your spam or junk folder as it’s commonly filtered there. If you still don’t see it, please wait up to 30 minutes, since occasional delays can occur during system busy periods. Should the email still be missing after that time, try resending the activation from the app or registration page. If it never arrives, contact Saluspa customer support directly through their help or warranty portal to request assistance or manual activation.
If the SaluSpa indicator light flashes quickly, it’s related to the Wi‑Fi LED status on models equipped with Wi‑Fi. According to the official troubleshooting, a rapidly flashing indicator means the pump is ready to connect to your phone and is waiting to pair

Once the countdown ends, the light will turn off and the heater will kick in automatically.
If the light stays on but heating doesn’t begin when expected, check your Power‑Saving Timer settings and reset them if needed.
To cancel the scheduled timer, press and hold the Power‑Saving Timer button for 2 seconds—this will deactivate the timer and allow normal heating to resume
If your SaluSpa Wi-Fi setup isn’t working, it might be because of a few common reasons like:
Your router is broadcasting on 5 GHz or dual‑band—only 2.4 GHz is supported—so switch it off or isolate to 2.4 GHz before pairing.
Spy pump is too far from the Router — Signal is weak/ unstable. To know if it’s the pump, reposition the pump a little further closer to your phone in relation to the router to check for Wi‑Fi strength.
The network name or password might be incorrect. Try starting the pairing process again. Make sure you enter the SSID and password
An interference of signals could be caused in case other mesh nodes or electronic devices are nearby or mesh boosters turn off mesh nodes or appliances next to the spa or router during the installation of these devices.

I basically used a long pick tool. I hooked the rubber valve and tore it into pieces until it came out. I replaced the valve with one of the butterfly valve kits.
